I first knew of Paige in my junior year of college, as we had a math class together at 9:00am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (ugh). Later that year, I formally met Paige. I was helping out with a fashion show and she was one of the models. I noticed that Paige’s style was pretty classy, and after realizing how pleasant she was, I asked to do a feature on her. Below is her interview.
Where are you from?
I am from Georgia, but I was born in Charlotte, NC.
What are you studying/doing for a living?
I am studying speech pathology to become a speech pathologist.
Any hobbies?
I enjoy shopping very much so. I think it’s a good stress reliever.
What does style mean to you?
I think of style as art. What you wear speaks volumes about you. Style gives you the freedom to express yourself. Whether you are feeling down or happy, the colors you choose express this. That is why it is traditionally acceptable to wear black during funerals.
What words would you use to describe your style?
I like to think that I am versatile. I like transitioning different styles depending on what vibe I wanna give off. Crisp, clean, boho, chic, classy, glitzy, funky.
Where are your favorite places to shop?
I enjoy shopping at ASOS, Zara, Polyvore.
Do you have any favorite fashion icons or designers?
Betsey Johnson, Audrey Hepburn, Jessica Simpson, Jeffrey Campbell, Steve Madden.
With regards to your style, where do you get your inspiration?
My inspiration comes from everything around me.
Is there one article of clothing you couldn’t live without?
I can’t live without watches. They give me so much life.
Any life advice, parting words, or final thoughts?
Stay true to yourself. Know what works for your body and accentuates your assets. Find you niche.
