Song of the Month: “Say You’ll Go” by Janelle Monáe

Music

My song of the month is “Say You’ll Go” by Janelle Monáe from her freshman album, The ArchAndroid. In the song, Monáe gives a beautiful description of love and requests that someone join her in the experience of it. The song has a great, chill vibe, and I thought it was so cool how the song features samples of “Clair de Lune” by Claude Debussy.

Below is not an official music video for the song, but a dance film by The Cutting Room entitled Love on a Sunday Afternoon. Enjoy.
