#WheresNiaNow: London, Oxford, and Wiltshire

Travel

Last month, I finally got a chance to go across the pond to visit Europe, continuing my summer travel Instagram hashtag, #WheresNiaNow. My sister and I traveled with a group of 43 and started our jaunt with three days in my father’s home country, England!

The first stop was London! I absolutely, completely fell in love with the city. The architecture is grand. The culture is so cool. I never been in a city more multicultural than London. It was amazing.

The London Underground, or the Tube, is now my new favourite public transit system.

We also found our house while we roamed Covent Garden.

Big Ben, obviously.
Stereotypical.

Next, we went to Oxford to visit my dream beyond the dream school: University of Oxford. Never would I have thought that I’d see the University of Oxford so soon in my life. It is more grand and more gorgeous than anything I could’ve ever imagined.

We learned about the history and culture of Oxford and walked around New College. The architecture was so bloody breathtaking. Just walking around would motivate you the be the best student.

The same day, we visited Wiltshire to see Stonehenge.

We returned to London that evening and left the next morning. London is spectacular and provided me an amazing experience. I only wish I had more time to explore the city. I’ve decided that I will live there someday.

Stay tuned for the next city, and make sure to check out #WheresNiaNow on Instagram! I’ll always have my current location in my bio @nialangley.
