Beyoncé Launches Vegan Food Delivery Service with Trainer Marco Borges
UncategorizedPut the burger down. We can be fed by Beyoncé now.
Introducing 22 Days Nutrition’s vegan meal delivery service, created by Beyoncé and her trainer Marco Borges.
The idea came after Beyoncé and husband Jay Z participated in the 22 Days Nutrition challenge in the winter of 2013. The challenge is rooted in the idea that it takes 21 days to break and make habits. During her 2013 challenge, Bey and Jay only ate plant-based foods; and she thinks everyone else should, too.
The service requires minimal work. All you have to do is reheat the dishes that arrive at your home weekly. The meals, ranging in price from $9.76 to $16.50, are completely plant-based and do not have gluten, soy, dairy, or GMOs. Dish examples include an Almond Blueberry Breakfast Loaf, a Sesame-Cabbage Lentil Bowl, and Ratatoille Pasta with Pesto.
“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example,” Beyoncé said in a press release. “He is the most energetic person I know and it’s all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”

I personally think this is pretty cool. I don’t know of many vegan food delivery services, and being a vegan who is too lazy busy to cook makes this incredibly appealing to me.
What do you think? Would you give it a try?
