The Incredible John Born

I was first introduced to John Born on Instagram. My friend Rhyon posted a photo of her apartment wall that he painted and a photo of herself, whom he also painted. I checked out Born’s Instagram profile and saw that the artist uses many different canvases. From walls to shoes to cars to humans, John Born paints them all and does so incredibly well.

Born has worked with celebrities like Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx, Nicki Minaj, The Game, Trey Songz, and more. His artwork is different, dope, and distinctively his own.

I asked to feature Born at the top of January. It took me so long to put this feature together because I liked an incredibly great deal of his pieces, but didn’t want to overwhelm you all with too much to see. I had at least three final drafts that were sabotaged because Born posted more dope works that I hadn’t seen before.

I couldn’t choose ten, so I finally chose eleven of my favorites, in no particular order.
