So today, I’m like gonna like write about another word that’s like used and like abused.
Was that like painful to like read? Yeah. It was bloody painful for me to write!
If that was painful to read, why do we hear “like” being overused all the time and pay no attention to it?

I cannot stand when the word “like” is used as a filler word, even if I’m the one to like use it in that way. It’s worse than “umm.” It’s worse than “uhh.” It’s bloody terrible and annoying.
I’m not exactly sure how this goes down in other countries, but young Americans are sounding like idiots.
STOP IT. STOP IT NOW.
The sentence should at least have gone like this: “And he said, ‘Seriously?,’ and I said, ‘Yeah,’ and he said, ‘No way,’ and I said, ‘It’s true!'” <—That right there sounds a lot less stupid.
That’s pretty much where we’re headed.
Like I know not everyone can like speak like perfect English like all the time; but still…the overuse and abuse is not the way to go.
This was very, very difficult for me to write. Aha!
See other abused words HERE.

This is soooo true. I was like you know. And then I was like wow. LOL Imagine if we wrote like how we talk, geez, that would be painful for professors!

I "like" this post! hahahaha! joke. Ikr? maybe because "like" can pause the conversation and allow us to think what we are going to say next. Hmm… have a great day Nia! 🙂
