Song of the Month: “My World Needs You” by Kirk Franklin ft. Sarah Reeves, Tasha Cobbs, and Tamela Mann

Music
My song of the month is “My World Needs You” by Kirk Franklin featuring Sarah Reeves, Tasha Cobbs, and Tamela Mann. I chose this song because I am a Christian, and it pains me to see so much darkness in this world. The darkness isn’t new at all, but so much seems to be happening so quickly, most recently Trump’s Muslim ban. To see so much hate, injustice, and indifference – sometimes perpetrated by people who claim to be Christians – breaks my heart. My world needs Jesus right now; but it also needs people who will stand up for what is right. Regardless of your faith, please do the right thing. Fight against injustice. Please don’t be silent. As the late Elie Wiesel said, “To remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all.”

This is certainly a great song I love also. It's so unfortunate bearing in mind the world we live in. We however must understand that it was never created to be perfect. As Christians, our hope is found in the knowledge of eternal life.
