The Book of Questions: Question 47

Uncategorized

Hello, readers! It’s been a crazy week with final exams and all. I have some good stuff for you next week. The time has come for another The Book of Questions feature.

For those of you not familiar with this feature, I select a question from The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock, Ph.D., write my response, and ask for your response. This is my twelfth time featuring a question, and I’m using the forty-seventh question in the book.

QUESTION 47:
You have the power to go any distance into the future and, after one year, return to the present with any knowledge you have gained from your experience but with no physical objects. Would you make the journey if it carried a 50 percent risk of death?

MY RESPONSE:
No. 50% is too high of a risk for me.

Time for your response! Let me know in the comments.

Have a good day!

wow, I remember this book. When I was in high school I would read this book with my art class mates to get to know them better. I carried it with me everywhere. That was in the 80's. I was just thinking of this book lat night and did a search and found you!

Two weeks ago i would have answered yes to this question, cause my state of mind was out of this world and 50 would not even seem like much. However today, am say no to this questions, I have great reasons for living and hoping.
